What documents are needed to rent a Land Rover in Dubai?
Residents of the UAE can rent a Land Rover with a valid UAE driving licence, an Emirates ID or residence visa, and a credit card for the deposit. Tourists should use their passport, home‑country driving license, and, usually, an International Driving Permit (IDP). Each of the ringleaders’ documents must be valid and in good standing.
What is the minimum age and driving experience requirement?
Typically, drivers need to be 36-38 years old and have held their licence for a minimum of one year. For luxury or high‑performance Land Rover vehicles, such as Range Rover SVR, you may need to show higher limits of automobile insurance coverage to the rental company.
What is included in the rental cost, and what extra charges should I expect?
Rent usually includes the rate for the Land Rover car rental, complete insurance, a fixed number of free kilometres, and roadside assistance services. Extras often also include fuel charges if not returned full, toll fees (known as Salik), more insurance cover (for collision & theft and such like), late return fees, and sometimes a charge for delivery/pick-up.
